Looks like MoriMori's got another famous game character under his repetoire of famous roles. According to this subbed second trailer of the upcoming Devil May Cry anime, Morikawa-san's going to play the main protagonist, Dante.

offtopic: The anime itself looks good, as it is animated by Madhouse studios (Death Note, Tokyo Godfathers).

Who is Toshiyuki Morikawa?

If you ever watch subbed versions of certain anime such as InuYasha and Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, then you MAY have heard this guy's voice. Morikawa was born in Kanagawa, Japan on January 26, 1967. He first got a job as a policeman, but all that changed when he became one of the most talented seiyuu in anime. He also recorded three solo albums and many theme and image songs for anime. Some of his more famous roles are Seiichiro Tatsumi from Descendants of Darkness, Sephiroth from Advent Children, and Naraku from InuYasha.

How to join/rules:

You MUST like this man's work, whether it be music or acting.

If you want to join, send me a note entitled "join". The same goes
for submitting deviations: Send me a note entitled "submit".

Yaoi/Shonen-ai is accepted here, but NO HENTAI!!!!!

Do not fave from this account! Fave at the original artist's account.

After you join, watch the club and put the club's avatar in your
journal or put a link of it in you signature.

Don't harass anyone about their views of certain Morikawa
characters.

CONTEST

Since fall has yet to start and Halloween is only a month away, let's have a Halloween themed contest!

RULES:
1. The NO HENTAI rule is still applied to the contest entry.

2. Draw either Morikawa-san in a Halloween setting or one of his roles (Sephiroth, Naraku, etc.) in a Halloween setting. The rest is up to you.

3. Send the entry as a note or if you can't (due to the bugs), just send me a link to it.

The contest will end October 25th. Voting will begin that day. 1st prize will be a requested colored drawing by me. 2nd prize will be an ink only request drawing by me. There will be no 3rd prize. Have fun and let your imagination run wild!
